Matrescence was first coined by anthropologist Dana Raphael in 1973 and resurrected by Dr. Aurelie Athan, a clinical psychologist

Two weeks ago, we welcomed Sophie Violet into the world. We’ve waited close to three years to hold you in our arms. 

The journey to becoming a mama x 2 has been an epic chapter in my matrescence.
